CALL FOR PROPOSALS Procedure for acceptance of project proposals for grants from the Republic of Bulgaria

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, through the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje, announces a procedure for the submission and selection of project proposals to be implemented with grant funding under the Republic of Bulgaria’s Official Development Assistance, with an implementation start date in 2027.
The deadline for the submission of project proposals is December 1, 2026.
The priority areas and directions for project implementation within the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia are:
- Improvement of educational infrastructure, including sports facilities;
- Provision of quality healthcare;
- Capacity building for the protection and guaranteeing of human rights;
- Ensuring freedom of speech, media pluralism, and good practices for combating disinformation and fake news, as well as the exchange of experience and the establishment of lasting contacts and ties among journalists;
- Promotion of democratic processes based on democratic values and the rule of law.
